KEY OBSESSIONS: THE TRUTH/SOLVING A MYSTERY
With a striking visual approach and a stunning cast that includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jnr, Fight Club director David Fincher fiercely grabs our attention as we spiral into a dark, unsettlingly postmodern world of puzzles, codes, pursuit, but no catharsis of truth. In the late 1960s, a nervy San Francisco cartoonist, a dogged cop, and a flamboyant reporter all become obsessed in their own way with tracking down an unidentified killer. This individual terrorizes Northern California with a killing spree interspersed with enciphered, taunting messages that are sent to the press. The never-ending hunt for the ZODIAC is on.

This year the nationwide Film Feels campaign explores cinematic obsessions- from auteurs to oddballs, imitation to identity theft, Stalkers to Stans, this theme offers a rich feast of genres, icons and subtext for audiences to sink their teeth into.
