Described by director Khalik Allah as "taking the hood off of the hood and showing you the head", this stylised hour-long documentary is a startling portrait of summer nights on the Harlem street corner of 125th and Lexington Avenue. Capturing the neighborhood's night trawlers with striking portraiture and hypnotic street footage, the film overlays its visuals with interviews where residents talk about topics such as their aspirations, regrets and dreams.
