Brotherhood (2018)
12 mins.
UK
Director: George Watts
Producer: George Watts
With his military career behind him, Jake Coles prepares to lead Wales to victory in the world of medieval combat. Not to be confused with historical reenactment, this unique sport involves real weapons, real damage and hopefully - real glory.
More than just an irreverent look at a fringe subculture, Brotherhood explores the notions of national pride and camaraderie that attracts people to this sport.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
George Watts is a Bristol-based filmmaker currently working in factual television who undertook the entire production of Brotherhood single-handed. The film was shown at Bristol’s historic Watershed cinema.
