ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Mario Antonio Liptaj is a Second Year Film student at University of Westminster. Previously he directed acclaimed short art film ‘Snowbud’ in his home country of Slovakia.

SYNOPSIS: ‘lights, camera, inaction!’ Set on the cusp of a new millennium in 1999, jaded young infomercial presenter Gareth Holland squirms his way through another banal, belittling day’s shooting, only to be told the shows outré sponsors wish him to accept an invitation to dinner. Like some Bastard brainchild of an imagined Cronenberg / Lynch mashup.

Olivia Parkinson is a first-year Film student at the University of Westminster, she was the Editor on One Night More (2017), an independent feature film directed by Louis Holder.

Alexander Nijhoff is also a first-year Film student at the University of Westminster. Recently, Alex wrote, directed and edited the surreal existential short film ‘Of the Beholder’, a Zenith Films Production.

SYNOPSIS: ‘Meet the Parents’ – A fresh-faced university student experiences a baptism of ‘fur’ when he attends a Christmas-themed dinner party at his in-laws in this Black comedy of (ill) manners.
