We are pleased to announce the revival of Deptford Cinema’s Film and Book Club in 2023! The club last held an event early in March 2020 with a screening of Agnes Varda’s Vagabond and a reading of Rebecca Solnitt’s A Field Guide to Getting Lost. So we are very excited to be able to get together to chat about all things pertaining to film and book after such a long break!
The first meeting will be a social event and BOOK SWAP - you are invited to bring along a loved or not-so-loved book to gift or swap. There will also be an informal discussion to plan the forthcoming Film and Book Club programme together. We would love to hear your ideas for movies and companion texts to read for the club!
Drinks and snacks can be purchased from the bar. Cake will be provided.
A big thank you to Music Room London for hosting this and forthcoming Film and Book Club events!
We welcome all to our friendly meet up.
Please let us know if you have any access needs in advance. Thank you.
