Another addition to our season celebrating the work of creative genius Terry Gilliam. A hugely talented but socially isolated computer operator is tasked by Management to prove the Zero Theorem: that the universe ends as nothing, rendering life meaningless. But meaning is what he already craves.
As with Gilliam’s other science-fiction films Brazil and 12 Monkeys, The Zero Theorem throws you into a fantastical, bizarre future world that is an all too eerie echo of all the bad parts of contemporary society.
