Kicking off our 3-day series of schlocky porno director Doris Wishman's earlier sexploitation roughies from the 1960s is perhaps one of her best titles, Bad Girls Go to Hell. This fall from grace for our titular bad girl will be accompanied by George Kuchar's 20-minute video exploration of various film communities around the states, Movie Memo. From New York, where he enjoys lots of Wishman memorabilia and salacious anecdotes from her cohorts, to Providence, where he looks at the drag subcultures in the famously gay town, Kuchar explores various forms of filmmaking. In his words, "Bad girls go to hell, but bad boys go to Providence!"
Trigger warning for sexual violence.
