No Offence BUT. Political Correctness And Its Effects

£3.50

Doors 19:00 - Films 19:30

A few short films and a Q&A session about the effects of Political correctness and its impact on your day to day.

7 Goldsmiths students look into and highlight the difficulties self-policing comments has on challenging prejudice and how self-regulation has led to the suppression of ideas.

Why has free speech been suppressed across contemporary society and what can be done to address this? Our short videos will show a variety of filmed responses across the city and anonymous online and face-to-face responses.

With the current backlash towards PC culture, this is a hot hot topic so please do come along! There will be a £3.50 donation for the upkeep of the cinema and very cheap drinks available at the bar.

Doors open at 7 for drinks, nibbles and mingling and screening at 7:30
