The Institut Francais is part of a worldwide network promoting French language and culture and encouraging cross-cultural exchange and cultural diversity. We are grateful to the Intitut Francais for allowing us access to their film catalogue for future screenings at Deptford Cinema.

The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany to promote knowledge of the German language and foster international cultural cooperation. We are excited to be working with the Goethe Institut to bring a diverse selection of German language cinema to Deptford Cinema.

The KCC's role is to "enhance friendship, amity and understanding between Korea and the UK through cultural and educational activities and work to further develop established cultural projects." Deptford Cinema is proud to collaborate with the KCC in furthering cultural links between the UK and Korea. They have provided Deptford Cinema with a programme of Korean films to be screened free of charge.

The KCC's role is to "enhance friendship, amity and understanding between Korea and the UK through cultural and educational activities and work to further develop established cultural projects." Deptford Cinema is proud to collaborate with the KCC in furthering cultural links between the UK and Korea.

They have provided Deptford Cinema with a programme of Korean films to be screened free of charge.


The Confucius Institute is an international not-for profit organization whose aim it is to promote Chinese language and culture, support local Chinese teaching internationally, and facilitate cultural exchanges. Deptford Cinema has established links of friendship and cooperation with the Confucius Institute so as to both screen and promote contemporary and classic Chinese films, and to provide a development platform for film studies students at SOAS with an interest in East Asian cinema.
