From multi genre Emmy-winning filmmaker Pi Ware (Pi has crafted documentaries, indie films, and such series as America’s Got Talent, Netflix’s Fastest Car, Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, World of Dance, American Idol and Q’Viva) comes a feature length documentary: Skin Deep.
Skin Deep explores an emerging disease that is being dismissed by a large portion of the medical community. Weaving powerful stories together with insightful interviews from leading scientists, researchers, physicians and nurses, SKIN DEEP legitimizes the disease and makes the case for empathic treatment.
“Because of the complexities and the stigmas surrounding Morgellons disease, the world needs a professional documentary film that both explains and legitimizes this disease. Skin Deep is that documentary”
- Pi Ware, Director.
The screening will feature a brief introduction and Q and A after the film, from long term Morgellons and Lyme Disease sufferer LP.
