Synopsis

PART TWO of our Special Double Bill!

Don’t miss out on our special DOUBLE BILL discounted tickets, available for a limited time only!

Still pursued across the country by remaining members of the Yagyu clan from part one, our protagonist and his infant son now face additional threats in the form of female ninjas associated to the Yagyu.

In order to protect the secret of their livelihood falling into the hands of the Shogunate, a group of cloth dyers hire the Lone Wolf to assassinate a former member of their guild. The deserter is however protected by a trio of assassin brothers nicknamed ‘The Gods of Death’.

Plot however is largely incidental in this second outing of the series. Misumi instead treats us to almost non-stop action as danger lurks at every turn and scarlet-red blood projectiles across the screen as one foe after another is despatched by the master swordsman.

Widely considered the best in the series, Baby Cart at the River Styx ramps up the blood and body count further still from the first film until it reaches a climax of sand, steel and severed limbs.
