Film Producing can be a mythical thing but what is it really about? This workshop aims to cover a number of areas essential to Film Production:
*Uncovering the Types of Producers prevalent in UK & International Productions
*Involvement & Expectations of Producers within Productions
*Shifts in Definition: A Contemporary Overview of the 21st Century 'Producer'
*The Set & The Set Dynamic
*I Want To Get Into Producing, What Do I Do?
We'll also be taking a look at how Producers need to strike a balance between being catalysts for Creativity whilst nurturing the Administrative aspects of Production, by taking a step-by-step overview through the production process - Development, Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production and Marketing & Distribution.
To put the overview/analysis into perspective, Workshop Facilitator Louis Holder will look at two short film case studies; and present examples of physical/digital production folders and all the templates you may need for your productions! Call Sheets... Line Budgets... AD Breakdowns and more!
