KABUKIMAN N.Y.P.D. introduces Sergeant Harry Griswold (Rick Gianasi), a clumsy New York cop who accidentally becomes blessed with the powers of Kabuki and transforms into the world’s most unusual slapstick super-human hero.
Originally cut into PG-13 [12A] version because Japanese videogame company Namco, a main backer of the film, wanted a mainstream, family-friendly superhero, this ‘unrated’ director’s cut of SGT. KABUKIMAN N.Y.P.D. gives audience the sex and violence Troma fans had come to expect.
