Deptford Cinema is proud to present the South London theatrical premiere of "IN2RUDERS", a brand-new mind-bending horror/thriller short film which follows a rising twin sister pop duo, whom after refusing to sign to a powerful record label, their lives take a dark turn.

Award-winning filmmaker Naeem Mahmood follows his breakout debut feature film, 'Brash Young Turks' with a new psychological horror short 'IN2RUDERS' - a nightmare about the dark side of the music industry.

Starring Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley, Megan Burns of '28 Days Later' and Brash Young Turks star Paul Chiedozie just to name a few, this intoxicating whirlwind is utterly unmissable and has been acclaimed already, pinpointed by London Horror Society as "A brutal yet beautiful look at the dark side of the music industry". The film has been selected at numerous UK-based film festivals: including Aesthetica (ASFF) and Shorts on Tap.

Trailblazer Films, the production company behind tonight's film, is run by filmmaking duo Naeem & Ash Mahmood. One of the freshest directors emerging in the UK, the company was set up by young creatives after winning the Prince's Trust Millennium Award. Naeem was mentored by Gary Kurtz - producer of Star Wars (1977) and The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and is a graduate of the Berlinale Talent Campus.

We are pleased to welcome Naeem who will be in conversation with Deptford Cinema's Louis Holder after the film, with a Q&A. Our bar will be open until 10pm tonight.
