Based on the H.P. Lovecraft serial Herbert West-Reanimator and of course influenced by Shelley's Frankenstein, this sequel to Stuart Gordon’s 1985 classic Re-Animator starts eight months after the events of the first film. Doctors Herbert West and Dan Cain are working as medics in the middle of a bloody Peruvian civil war. With plenty of bodies to work on, they experiment with West’s re-animation reagent. After their medical tent is stormed by the enemy, they return home to work at Miskatonic University Hospital in Arkham. Still pilfering body parts from the hospital’s morgue and near-by cemetery, West discovers the heart of Cain’s fiancée Megan Halsey and convinces his partner-in-crime to re-animate the perfect woman from dead tissue.
Inspired by the film, we will be hosting a mixology party alongside the screening where you can learn to make your own cocktails and create your own concoctions! Pay for what you make/ drink only. No extra charge for the lessons from our guest Mixologist!
