Based on the novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui, writer of' Paprika', The Girl Who Leapt Through Time follows school-girl Makoto Konno as she experiments with her newly found time travel device; Director Mamoru Hosoda ('Summer Wars' and 'Wolf Children') hones in on her attempts to alter particular events, which her leads her on a journey through multiple time-loops.
