EGOMANIAC

Catherine Sweeney (Nic Lamont) is a filmmaker determined to make a zombie horror romantic comedy as her debut feature. Sadly, her passion and enthusiasm is not shared by the people she meets in the industry. In fact, she is repeatedly told the only way to make the film appealing to investors is to add a talking dog to the screenplay. Catherine eventually gives in, but this is only the first of many compromises she is expected to make to get this project made. Objectified and humiliated, Catherine reaches the end of her rope and seeks retribution in the bloodiest form possible.

Egomaniac had its world premiere at Fright Fest 2016 to a sold out audience. Other films festival screenings includes Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival, Boston Horrorthon, IFC Horrorthon, Lund International Fantastic Film Festival, RIP Horror Festival LA, Unrestricted View Horror Festival, Overkill Film Festival and Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.

The film has also been nominated for awards at Unrestricted View Horror Festival and RIP Horror Festival LA. Kate Shenton received a nomination for the Screen International Rising Horror Star Award (receiving a special mention.) and the film was nominated for awards at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.
