In this documentary the film maker, Noor Huda Ismail, looks at the impact of the IS social media campaign on Indonesians and takes an in-depth look at the reasons behind Indonesian radicalism. At the heart of this film is the question of how society should respond to the challenge posed by IS.

The film will be followed by a discussion panel including lecturer and expert on Indonesia and Islam, Michael Buehler, and Southeast Asia political risk analyst, Anton Alifandi, which the audience will be asked to join in with. This will also be Jihad Selfie’s UK premiere, and the start of our first Indonesian season at Deptford Cinema, so expect more than just a screening..!
