LOVE THEME FROM FLASHDANCE presents... Gallivant (1996)

Andrew Kötting’s first feature Gallivant documents a clockwise journey around the coast of Britain with his 85-year-old grandmother Gladys, and his 7-year-old daughter, Eden, who suffers from a rare, often life-limiting genetic disorder called Joubert Syndrome. The result is an endearing home video style documentary - an eccentric musing on our relationship to space, language and mortality filmed through the lens of a family trip to the seaside.

Kötting will be with us on the 18th to provide a brief introduction, and Eden, although unable to attend, has designed our poster for the event. The poster will be available to purchase before and after the screening at Deptford Cinema.

Gallivant is the first in a series of events in which all proceeds from the screening and poster sales will go to a charity relevant to the film—in this case, Joubert Syndrome UK.

Tickets £5
